Home Stays
The home-stay families provide essential support for our international students. For this reason we take very great care in selecting home-stay families and in matching each student with a suitable family. Our Director of International Students, Mrs Potts, inspects prospective accommodation, interviews hosts and checks references carefully. There is regular communication between home-stay parents and Mrs Potts to ensure that support is always available.Our Director meets students on arrival and introduces them to their home-stay families. All students, their parents and home-stay families have our Director's telephone number so that help is always available.
International Programme
Wakatipu High School provides an excellent programme for international students. This includes:- Full Pastroal Care and Support
- A professional study programme for English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
- Integration with New Zealand classes to study for New Zealand qualifications.
